This is a simple yet elegant candlestick, probably British in origin and dating to the latter half of the 20th century.
The upper part of the candlestick is of short cylindrical form with a thickened base. The rim is everted. There is a wide collar at the junction of the candleholder and its baluster shaped stem. The latter has a large teardrop shaped enclosed bubble. The wide foot is plain and unmarked.
It has a height of approximately 17.6cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 5.3cm and at the foot of about 9.0cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
