This is a nice example of a late 20th century ornamental glass pig.
The pig is made freehand in flint glass, overlaid with opaque pink and white glass. The body has been crimped to form four legs. The rear has been twisted to form a curly tail. The ears and snout have been drawn out from the body. The base is polished flat and signed with ‘AVONDALE 91’.
It has a height of approximately 5.5cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
