Product Description

This is a stunning and high-quality rose gold necklace dating to the Art Nouveau period.

The necklace and pendant are made in a pinkish coloured gold, commonly referred to as ‘Rose Gold’. This alloy is made by the addition of copper into the mix. There is a small faceted amethyst set in the centre and held in place by a bar.

The chain is made up of three single round links alternating with an elongated looped link, similar in shape to an infinity symbol.

The reverse of the pendant is marked with ‘9ct’.

The pendant has a length of approximately 2.9cm and a width of about 2.0cm. The chain has a maximum length (from end to end) of about 45.0cm.

It is in good condition, although the strand of gold below the amethyst is only attached from the lower point; the attachment to the central stone has come away. This does not affect the strength or detract from the piece.
