Art Glass Two Tiered Textured Candlestick

This is an example of an art glass candlestick, similar in design to the ‘Festivo’ design by Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala. The candlestick has been made in a two-part mould (the mould lines are just discernible) and the stem has two flattened circular knops. The whole has a textured effect but the top and the base are polished smooth. The candlestick has a height of approximately 12.5cm, with a diameter at the top of about 6.8cm and at the base of about 7.3cm. The central hole has a diameter of 2.2cm. It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
