This is a nice example of a stylish blue and white ceramic teapot stand, in the ‘Willow’ pattern by Arklow Pottery and dating to the mid 20th century.
The teapot stand is circular with a raised lip. The edge is gilded and the whole is decorated with the classic ‘Willow’ pattern in blue and white. The underside is marked in the centre with the words ‘WILLOW ARKLOW D’.
It has a diameter of approximately 16.2cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there is some crazing to the glaze.
