For a full product description, see below.

This is a high-quality cut lead crystal square spirit decanter, maker unknown but probably British in origin.
The decanter is square in section with chamfered corners. Each rectangular side is cut with two sets of three fan-like wedge cuts. The innermost arms of each pair come into close approximation, forming an isosceles triangle in the centre. This triangle is filled with a lattice of cut diamonds in relief. The lowermost border formed from a large horizontal wedge cut. Each panel formed at the chamfered edge contains six crosses in a column. The short neck is moulded to form eight facets and the rim is broad and flat. The stopper is of faceted ball form.
It has a maximum height (including the stopper) of approximately 25.0cm and a width across the base of about 9.7cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
