This is a highly unusual and quirky vase, probably dating to the 1960s.
The globular body is in three layers – an inner cream colour, a mottled multicoloured layer and an outer flint glass layer. The ears, limbs and facial features are all separately applied in flint glass. The eyes and mouth are highlighted in red.
There is a circular rim at the top of the head and the entire body is hollow.
The base of the rabbit has a roughened finish.
It has a maximum height to the top of the ears of approximately 32.0cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
