1950s Izida of Bulgaria Abstract Triangular Ashtray

This is a nice example of a retro ceramic ashtray by the Bulgarian company Izida.
The ashtray is approximately triangular with dipped corners for placement of cigarettes. The rim and the depressions are edged in red. There are red hash marks formed from pairs of parallel lines on the centre of the ashtray.
The underside is moulded with three raised feet and transfer printed with the words ‘1 IZIDA 1883 MADE IN BULGARIA’.
It has a maximum length of approximately 20.0cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there is some wear to the hand applied red design.
