This is a highly attractive and unusual celery vase dating to the Art Deco period.
The trumpet shaped body is made in amber glass on a rounded discoid base. The latter has a central polished pontil. The vase has a crackled effect throughout and is etched on one side with the word ‘CELERY’.
It has a height of approximately 17.2cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 9.8cm and across the foot of about 8.0cm.
It is in good condition, with no chips or cracks. However, it has a number of wear and tear scratches on the interior – these are not very visible due to the crackled effect, but this wear is reflected in the price.
